Geographical Area
Agoro and the encompassing Kitgum district are bordered with the Republic of Sudan in the North; the districts of Kotido in the East; Gulu in the West; and Lira in the South. Kitgum district has a total area of 16,136 sq. km covering the counties of Arua, Agago, Chua and Lamwo. Agoro lies within the county of Lamwo.
